Ready to try improv? Start with the basics in SPARC Theater’s Adult Improv Class: Chapter 1 – Foundation Building.
Led by award-winning teaching artist Mark Duncanson, this six-week course is perfect for beginners looking to step into the world of improv with confidence. Through classic short-form games, scene work, and ensemble exercises, you’ll learn to listen, support your scene partners, and make bold choices—all while having a ton of fun.
Whether you’re curious about performing or just want to boost creativity and spontaneity, this supportive, high-energy class is a great place to start. You’ll even get the chance to share what you’ve learned in a celebratory showcase on the final night!
