LARPD Introduces New Picnic, Playground, and Pool Rental Package at May Nissen Park for the Summer
LIVERMORE, CA – The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD) has launched a new rental option for summer groups and gatherings at May Nissen Park. The Picnic, Playground, and Pool (Px3) Rental Package is now available on weekdays through August 8, 2025.
The Px3 package includes a full-day reservation of Picnic Site #2—located adjacent to the playground—and 40 swim bands for admission to the May Nissen Swim Center during public swim hours from 1:00 to 3:45 p.m. The cost for the package is $100. It is available Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
“The Px3 package simplifies the process for anyone planning a group outing or celebration,” said Nancy Larson, a member of LARPD’s Recreation team. “Having access to a picnic area, playground, and the pool in one reservation makes it easier for families and groups to enjoy the park without coordinating multiple bookings.”
Community members can apply for the Px3 Rental Package through LARPD’s existing picnic site rental process by selecting the Px3 option on the application. Standard rental and swim rules apply.
