Local public agency StopWaste is offering mini-grants to food businesses in Alameda County that are currently using disposable cups, plates, utensils and other foodware for dine-in customers, to switch to reusable foodware. At a ceremony last month, Alameda County public agency StopWaste honored Wingen Bakery & Restaurant with the 2025 Environmental Leadership Award for Excellence in Sustainability at Work.
